Meet the owner Ceymone King
Ceymone King is a hoosier-native, born in Indianapolis, IN into a diverse family line. She grew up valuing the small things in life and began technical dance at the age of 3. Growing up, she's always had a massive love for animals, helping others, mixology and theater arts. She was featured in many performances across the U.S., and being homeschooled in her early childhood helped open doors to the open-minded and eclectic woman she is today. At 15-years old, she began her first job as a juice & smoothie bar specialist where she grew the love for making drinks and creating an atmosphere that established lifelong friendships. At 21-years old she extended her drinking-making passion when graduating Midwest Bartending School, specializing in bar management, flair and advanced mixology. She received a full scholarship to Indiana University and received two Bachelor degrees in Sociology and African American and African Diaspora Studies from The College of Arts & Sciences. Her work experience expands from government positions, social work, dance studies and excelling as a high-end bartender throughout her college years. Moving to Mobile, AL was a big stepping stone to resilience, independence and truly chasing one's dreams. The Mardi Gras culture, southern foods and proximity to beautiful beaches has been her highlights of living in Mobile. Ceymone reflected upon her passion for serving drinks, the importance of access to healthy food options and sharing her kind-heart and communal nature when creating The Juice Palace. She is an active animal advocate, dog mom to two amazing pups and never misses the chance to spread a little kindness everyday.
