Our passion for Cajun and Caribbean cuisine is rooted in the beautiful blend of Louisiana, Puerto Rican, and Dominican cultures that shape our family’s history. We are honored to share our love of food, culture, and tradition with the community. Our story begins with our mother, a proud Louisiana native and Veteran, and our father, a Dominican who moved to Puerto Rico at a young age. We learned the art of cooking and the importance of family from our grandmother, Abuela, our mother, and our tias. For us, food is not just a meal—it’s a way to bring people together and celebrate the rich cultures that have shaped who we are.
Meet the owner Lara Guillen
Grub2Go was born for a deep passion for cooking and cultural fusion. Inspired by their children's love of blending Cajun and Caribbean flavors for family meals, the founders, a U.S. Army veteran mother and Dominican immigrant father decided to share their culinary talents with the community. Starting as a small catering operation, they are steadily building toward their dream of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant that celebrates their rich heritages and enduring love of food.
